PERSONALITY: Constance is, first and foremost, a very laidback individual. She is not normally inclined to aggression or dramatic outbursts, though that does come with its own faults. While some people might fly into a blind panic during high moments of stress or despair, Constance remains calm or attempts lessen the severity of a situation with humor, no matter how facetious or poor in taste. She's been called heartless because of her lack of empathy, and has even gotten dragged into fights because she couldn't stop giggling after the first punch was thrown.

Jokes aside, this little poochyena is a great team player -- provided you don't take what she says at face value, and leave her to her own devices. Despite how easygoing she appears to be, she does fall more on the introverted scale. There are times when she gets very quiet and wants her alone time, though it's difficult to notice when she's annoyed. Not wearing her heart on her sleeve and using humor as a defense mechanism means she's always wearing that same shit eating grin. There's some trust and abandonment issues as well, but she doesn't like to think or talk about it.

BIOGRAPHY:
Constance never knew her biological father. Maybe it had something to do with her mother's insatiable lust for seamen. Yes, seamen. Her mother worked in a gentleman's club that catered to sailors, and had a bad habit of bringing men back to the apartment. It didn't take long for her to settle down with one, a douchebag who introduced structure into the household…and seemingly tried to replace his stepdaughter with his new son. There was a lot of bad blood between the girl and the new additions to her previously small family. Coming home soon became a real pain.[break][break]

It was easy to get swept up in gang life. The group she fell in with was like a second family to her, all tight knit and ready to fend for each other. Of course, later, she found out she was unknowingly being used as a drug mule. A young teen by then, the risk of crossing paths with the law was great. But one doesn't just walk out on their family -- not if they liked keeping their kneecaps intact. And with her home life the way it was, her ex-military stepdouche would turn her over in an instant. The only option was to not get caught, and maybe work her way up to a better standing.[break][break]

But as the age old saying goes, "You're here forever.". She never truly elevated her status, but her products did change. Sometimes they were bigger than her, other times they were small enough to fit in the palm of her hand. Some gave her the uneasy feeling of possessing a presence, sentient or not she could not say. But it was the medium sized boxes that concerned her the most. The kind of boxes that felt unnervingly cool to the touch. She's never asked about the packages; it isn't her job to know. She's just the courier.
