Shouldn’t have been, the numbers suggest an ambush. The signs tell of a battle, perhaps to observe before capture? That’s a new one. No more than an hour, and the trail lingers enough for Desmond to follow, his experience tells him the trail will die soon after. But he knows, believes, that there’s still a chance, always a chance.
Coming over a massive sand dune, Desmond’s taken aback for a moment as he tries to discern the scene. An overturned truck, cages littering the desert, some destroyed but most closed containing their prizes. What caught his attention, what throws him off guard is the fighting.
The poachers versus the poached, chaotic haphazard fighting the two sides are hard to figure out and before he can gather his wits a massive plume of sand bursts in his face. He’s sinking? Falling. Either or, the dune of which he was atop of is no more and he’s being sucked into the fighting.
As Desmond's brought into the fray, he brings out Rouen.
@mod this is a mess, i admit, but i was thinking of like a three party free for all. if any mod is up for the task :)

[nospaces] [attr="class","tempbodyz"] [attr="class","dillydally"] [attr="class","ambrosia"]Oh! [break] [attr="class","subtitleblock"]a wild aron/lairon/aggron has appeared! [attr="class","hatemyself"] Pokemon were the scarcest commodity in the region of Orre, even after the mass introduction of foreign species. The bountiful regions like Unova and Kanto could never appreciate how valuable they were. Kanto even had a commercial Safari Zone! In contrast, Orre had a period of history where only the rich and powerful could use fighting Pokemon to move brick and stone, or to ask a psychic Pokemon to put a child to sleep. [break][break] Orre is no longer so stratified, but the presence of Pokemon still incited more fights than ore or gas deposits. [break][break] "Someone grab that Aron!" One of the bearded men shouted, spittle coming from his mouth. [break][break] The terrified Pokemon attempted to make way to her parents, but there was a Hitmonchan in the way. It tried to punch her with a Sky Uppercut, and the Aron responded with a Protect, curling herself into a tiny ball. Her tiny legs are shaking. She knows that she can't keep this up forever. [break][break] Over on the other side of the dune, her parents are duking it out with the other poachers' Pokemon. An Aggron met a Rolling Kick with a Heavy Slam. A Lairon's defenses were broken by a Hitmontop's Feint. Neither of them were in any position to get to their baby. [break][break] desmond black

[newclass=.okokok]display: block; font-size:11.3px;text-align:justify;width:260px;padding:25px;margin:10px 165px;border:1px solid #7679A6;[/newclass] [attr="class","okokok"]Desmond’s slow getting to his feet, in fact Rouen basically drags him up following the shouting of a poacher. “Geez, I know, I know.” He doesn’t really, but he’s starting to get the picture as the sounds of battle seem to engulf them. Rouen only sees what’s in front of him, and that’s the problem, he doesn’t realize they’re right in the middle of it all and he doesn’t care. The true good-doer of the group and full of energy, Rouen rushes to the Aron’s aide. “This is your show Rouen, Dynamic Punch!” Toulouse is brought to Desmond’s side, the fighting behind them is cause for worry, but for now he and Toulouse are happy to spectate Rouen. @redox redoxmy first thread with redox, what an honor hope im doing this pokemon stuff right Rouen used Focus EnergyRouen used Dynamic Punch at Hitmonchan

[nospaces] [attr="class","tempbodyz"] [attr="class","dillydally"] [attr="class","ambrosia"]Oh! [break] [attr="class","subtitleblock"]a wild aron/lairon/aggron has appeared! [attr="class","hatemyself"] The Dynamicpunch had comically knocked the Hitmonchan flying. The Aron curls up into an even tighter ball, not daring to look up from where she sat. Somehow the natural flight instinct in weaker Pokemon was not present in this one, and not for badass reasons. [break][break] The Aggron Autotomizes itself before coming in for an Iron Tail against the Hitmonlee. He faints instantly. The Lairon was having slightly more trouble, eventually resorting to Roar in order to drive off the enemy. [break][break] The poachers seem to recognize a lost battle. They retrieve what Pokemon they can and run off in the direction of a jeep that wasn't overturned. [break][break] desmond black
