Relic River, one of the few prides of Agate Village, this river gives sanctuary from the eternal heat that Orre was known for. It is also the reason why Sol's Family Farms was as successful as it was. At one point, where he was young, Andrew walk upstream hoping to find where the river came from. All that give him was a sunburn and a talking to from his parents while his grandpa laughs in the background.
Thankfully he wasn't doing that on this day, rather he was walking by the river side with lady, hoping to find a new family member to add to the family. Maybe, if he was luckily, he would find one drinking from the river or maybe a Water-type was resting in the shallows? 'Who known?' Andrew thought to himself, eyeing the water surface 'They might be watching me as we speak.'

[attr="class","hatemyself"] [attr="class","pkmnbox"]  The Alohan Rattata were what Orrean locals called an 'invasive species'. They were ferociously territorial, and they ate almost anything. This particular fellow had been a survivor of last year's pest control campaign. He had been troublesome enough to be driven into the forest, which meant that he was faster, cleverer, and meaner than any other Rattata. [break][break] He positioned himself carefully amonst the bushes. The Rattata could smell food from the human's bag. He couldn't turn himself invisible, but he had the next best thing. [break][break] The Rattata launched from the bushes with a Quick Attack, intending to tear a great big hole in the human's bag. [break][break] Andrew Sol if he's not carrying food then assume that the rattata's sense of smell is faulty |

The lose of weight from his back was the first sign that Andrew receive that something was wrong, the sound of his lunch hitting the floor and the sight of a Rattata moving past him was the second. A touch of anger fill him for a second, this old beg was his for a couple of years. Yet a sense of joy overcame it, his new team member just appeared in front of him. With a small smirk, he gentle set down Lady in front of him and whisper his plans.
"Hit him with a Magical Leaf, then lent him listen to voice Disarming Voice. Good luck My little Lady." Lady who shyly nodded back to Andrew in respond, glowed green as she shot multi color leafs at the Rattata. Afterward she call out in a shy timid voice, not all of it a act for the fallowing move.

He hisses viciously, only to be knocked back by the most saccharine sweet sound he'd heard in his life. [break][break] Now would be an extremely good time to run. However, nobody got to be the toughest Rattata in the area without losing some of their most basic self-preservation instincts. Andrew smile as both attacks hit dead on, noticing that disarming voice look perfect against it. Eyeing the Rattata to see what it will do, he was pleasantly surprise that it decided to stand and fight. Good, he will need pokemon like that if he will one day face the colossuses. Okay, what next?
Lady stood still, spying on the Rattata from behind her hair. She wonder what it was going to do. Spotting it wiping it tail, she let down her guard just a little. Unfortunately for her, that what it was waiting for. Squeaking in fear, she fall backward, barely dodging the Super Fang that it aim at her. She it so close to her, Lady once more use Disarming voice at it. Hopefully it will be over soon. |

He sigh in relief as Lady mange to dodge with pure luck. To sweeten the deal, her next disarming voice mange to knock out the Rattata. Seeing his chance, Andrew toss his pokeball hoping to capture it.
