[attr="class","hasllyrics"]So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover [attr="class","hasllynotes"]545 [attr="class","hasllynotes"]i double checked the site's pg-13 rating for this d joke [attr="class","hasllynotes"]open | [attr="class","haslybody"]Paper stacked on paper, paper on the walls. Paper in her desk, and boy oh boy, paper was such a ball. She was so sick of filing away paperwork! There was always something coming up that Bobby didn't want to deal with. Pokemon pissing up the carpets? Gotta have a bill for that. Couples carving their initials in the furniture? Woo, boy. She needed a bill for that too. Water bills, electricity bills, and keeping up appearances inside the motel and out was a nightmare.
Her shoulders slacked back into her chair as she stared at how much work still needed to be done. Sticking the cap of a pearly pink pen back in her teeth, she mulled over how she wanted to handle their economic woes. They needed to start attracting regulars again, or they'd be cutting their bills close this month.
A knock on the door disturbed her line of thought, and before she could respond, one of their frazzled housekeepers barged in. "Ma'am, there's Ds! Ds everywhere! And I can't wipe them off!" The house keep bemoaned, looking frustrated with a hint of embarrassment in her cheeks.
"...Excussa me?" Bobby blinked, slowly processing the fact that darling Lewie here, standing in her sanctuary of an office, was wailing about letters. Certainly, Bobby must've heard wrong.
"Graffiti'd all over the front of the house, miss. Naturally, I tried scrubbing some off to see if it could be done but..." The young girl shriveled up as if Bobby was about to blame her for the crime, and explaining the situation in general made Lewie shift uneasily.
It was an easy problem to solve, sure, if you had money. Bobby wasn't too worried though. With a reassuring smile, she motioned for Lewie to come close. "It's ok, child. I know you tried your best. Let Bobby Kiss here assess the damage and we'll see where to go from here. Probs just needs a spot of paint, is all." She nodded to herself, truly hoping that's all it was. "You go back to your morning routine, and I'll call ya if I need some muscle." Shooing the house keep off, Bobby pressed her weight onto the armrests of her chair and slowly got up.
Might as well assess the damage and break out the paint cans hiding in the basement. Walking out of the office, and navigating through the halls, she eventually decided to think of it as a minor 'art project' to brighten up her day. Yeah, as long as she stayed positive and took deep breaths, she was certain that she could get through such a small set back.
Taking her first steps outside since last night, she zipped around and took the sight in. Letters, Lewie said? What was that again? Ds...? D's? What printed the front of the motel in a spiel of vibrant neon colors was hardly Sesame Street friendly. And how in the world did the paint stretch up to the 'Half-a-Way There' sign stamped on the roof?!
She gaped in shock. Then, came the denial. And when words finally tore into her mouth she released a frantic shriek that startled the nearby birds into the air. "WHO'S BEEN DRAWING DICKS?!" Hoo, Willie. She had problems up the wazooie today. |

| If anyone asked how he was enjoying Pyrite Town, Kiran would be lying through his teeth.Pyrite is an interesting town with a lot of local character. It's so hard to find a place in Orre that hasn't been overtaken by new construction, you know? When I look at these buildings, it feels as if the region's past hasn't truly left us.
In truth, he hated the place. It didn't hold a candle to his native city of Phenac, and everyone from the kids on the street to the burly woman at the food mart was trying to rip him off.
Kiran had always spent money like water, but he was usually getting top-notch accommodations in return. Colosseum Week meant that the glamorous hotels were all occupied by rich tourists. Half-a-Way Motel wasn't his first choice, but he hadn't been greeted by a sex worker at the front door. That was good enough for him.
Eventually he would reconsider that attitude. The motel here couldn't even guarantee him a single night of uninterrupted sleep, it seemed. He had tossed and turned for hours on the springy bed, and the manager was always yelling at some poor miscreant or another. Just when he had finally settled into sleep, he woke up from all the yelling. Kiran decided that he couldn't ignore the noise any longer. He got out of bed, pulled on his Gladiator jacket, and walked outside.
He puts on a radiant smile for the manager, concealing all trace of his extreme annoyance. "Madam, it's a bit late for all this excitement, isn't it? Why don't you go back to bed?"
For all our sakes.

[attr="class","hasllyrics"]So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover [attr="class","hasllynotes"]303 [attr="class","hasllynotes"]Hi!! ty for joining! | [attr="class","haslybody"]Oh, someone was going to hear about this. Someone was going to get their nose jammed straight into a can of aerosol paint and suffer the same fate as her motel; a spray painted D inside of their lungs. Or maybe when she calmed down enough, she'd settle for a much more legal compromise. Having them help paint over the motel sounded...safe. Yes, safe was a good word. Deep breaths, now. Where was that Togedemaru stress toy she normally kept in her purse? Ah, probably back in the office. Nothing quite like squeezing the needles out of that rubbery squish toy in these trying times.
A ray of shining light interrupted her calm down time, and the brilliance from the stranger's Gladiator attire put a damp towel over the surviving embers of her rage. One last breath, and she forced a smile towards her valued client. My, my! She couldn't just blast off like this and scare her clients off, now could she? Her boss would have her head if that was the case, haha! Ha. Not funny.
"Why, you're absolutely right. Heavens, it must be my age showing. Getting worked up over a bunch of--" She trailed off, her smile immediately hardening into a disgusted scowl over the detailed hairs that stared into her soul. Thankfully she reeled herself back from that one, not wanting to further disturb the clientele. "I digress." With a shake of her head, she retreated away from the motel and decided to avoid looking at it as much as possible. For her own sanity, she had to.
"But I should be saying that to you, darlin'. Don't mind me and get the rest of that shut-eye while I...deal." For a sentence that started out so sweetly, it ended flatter than a can of soda left outside overnight.

| Kiran took a good look at the source of the woman's discontent. He had to stifle a laugh, though he pauses to admire the prankster's artistry. The paintings were all over the wall without any consistent pattern. Some of the circles had been drawn disconnected from the...shaft. It was embarrassingly careless. The Gladiator approached the wall and smeared the paint with his index finger. He examined the green paint closely.
It was extremely runny paint. Not like actual graffiti at all. If Kiran didn't know any better, then he would have thought that he was touching some kind of body fluid. It wasn't sticky enough to be blood, but --
A shadowy figure leapt from above and attempted to smash into Kiran. He backs away just in time. Whoever it was, they were the size of a child. He takes out his pocket flashlight and points it at the offender.
A Smeargle raises itself from a low crouch. He uses his left paw to block the incoming light out of his eyes. In his other hand, he points his green tail at them menacingly.
"I think he's taken a liking to your motel, ma'am." Kiran smiles wryly, but takes out a Pokeball in case the Smeargle was serious about defending their 'territory'.

[attr="class","hasllyrics"]So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover [attr="class","hasllynotes"]339 [attr="class","hasllynotes"]Smeargle are so cute. | [attr="class","haslybody"]Her eyes followed after Kiran out of curiosity, wondering if that was a subtle cue that their conversation was over. Right as her eyes were about to catch sight of the paint, she stiffened and turned her back to the motel. Like hell was she going to turn into a Tauros, all a frenzy at the sight of red.
In fact, right now she could be remedying the situation with a reliable ladder and a good ol' bucket of paint. She'd need all hands on deck for this one, she figured. "W-Well, if you'll excuse me I'll--" She started towards the door with intense concentration, mustering all her will-power to focus solely on the door and nothing in her peripheral vision.
But before she could, a loud thump crashed into the ground behind her. Whirling around with her hand to her chest, she gasped at the culprit. It was...an art dog! You know...the art dog! The mascot for a many children's coloring book, and owned by several famous Pokemon Coordinators overseas.
"Well, where in the world did you come from?" Switching her gaze between Kiran and the Smeargle, she had the sense that the Smeargle could be hostile. Maybe just frightened?
Upon hearing Bobby's voice, the Smeargle switched its tail's target towards the intruder with a scowl. Green droplets fell to the ground whenever it jerked its tail between its two targets. It didn't know either of these people, and it wasn't about to be bossed around.
The particular shade of green didn't go unnoticed, and Bobby's initial curiosity hardened into a parent debating a child's punishment. "My, it sure knows how to leave a good first impression. Don't it?" She smiled back at Kiran, not expecting a retort or an answer.
"You. Pi-doggo. I hope you can put that tail to good use, because you'll be dunking it in a fresh can of paint to clean up this mess." She declared, figuring that she could make the Smeargle eventually bend to her will in one way or another.

| "Hmm...yes. First impressions are important, but they aren't everything." Kiran opens his palms. "How about it, Smeargle? Care to clear up your reputation with the madam?" A holy man is a man of second chances. Nevertheless there's something steeled about his smile.
The Smeargle turns away and splays another coat of green body fluid over the motel wall, ignoring the Gladiator completely. It was completely uncharacteristic for a wild Pokemon. Then it occurs to Kiran. He's not marking his territory for himself. He's marking it for someone else. His misdemeanor suddenly becomes slightly more problematic.
The problem with Pokemon is that their free will is less malleable than a human's. Kiran could certainly talk down a thug from making the biggest mistake of their relatively short lives, but Pokemon only recognized ownership. This is why he's not in Beastiarii, he thinks. His current job is a lot less frustrating.
"Okay, well. We can figure this out once we get you down to Pyrite Station." Kiran takes a wary look at the building before calling out his Escavalier. "Er, madam. I will do everything possible to minimize damage to your establishment." He grins apologetically at Bobby. Maybe it's about time that he thought about investing in a Psychic type Pokemon.
Shiv uses Swords Dance, intending to end the conflict in one blow.

[attr="class","hasllyrics"]So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover [attr="class","hasllynotes"]320 [attr="class","hasllynotes"]ty for waiting for me to post ;w; | [attr="class","haslybody"]Kiran reasoned with the Smeargle with what Bobby could only describe as a princely charm. There was something to be respected about the way Kiran carried himself; willing to give second chances, polite, patient, and holding his ground with a forgiving smile. All to be disgraced by another dick in the wall. This was madness.
"Ohhh, you've a done it now. Just wait until I get my hands on you, you punk." She tsked, clicking her tongue to keep herself from bursting into an eruption of profanity. Imagine if Kiran hadn't been here. How could she handle this? Well, she had her own Pokemon, sure. But one could only fight in water, and the other was just plain suspicious whenever she used it to battle.
She briefly considered trapping the mutt underneath a garbage can as if she was catching a spider in a cup. Maybe that could work? Though it could probably escape with nothing to weigh the can down.
Her train of thought was interrupted with Kiran's reassurance. "Ah, yes. Thank you thank you." She replied absentmindedly, expecting all of this to be resolved in a jiffy.
And once the Escavalier began to use a heated Swords Dance, the bug knight's hostility caused her to shiver in her spot. Was the motel really going to be ok? Those giant arms looked as if it could tear the wall off someone's room if it really wanted to. The Smeargle didn't seem to like the Escavalier's fancy footwork either. With a smug anime girl smile, it gripped its tail and proceeded to trace the bug's movements in the air. Once its sketch was complete, it mirrored the Escavalier's Swords Dance. What was this, Flashdance?
Did the two Pokemon mix up Pokemon battles with dance battles? "What...what are they doing? Some kinda ritual?" She asked, skeptical on whether either Pokemon's actions was beneficial. Well, whatever. As long as they kept her motel out of it, this was fine.
